- Shot one: a wide shot of a wet stone jetty under a black storm sky, a small brown dog bounding along it toward the camera while a lighthouse beam sweeps across the spray. Hard cut. Shot two: a wave explodes over the jetty wall, the dog skids, drenched, ears flat, and scrambles the other way. Hard cut. Shot three: at the lighthouse door a keeper in a yellow oilskin scoops the dog up as the beam swings round, the door slams against the wind. Handheld, rain on the lens. Roaring sea, wind, a bark.
