Graphic Design Recomposer takes any existing graphic (logos, posters, social tiles, UI mockups) and reformats it to a new aspect ratio without manual layout work. The workflow is intentionally lean: LoadImage ingests your source file, a custom recomposition node (UUID 172f1008-9337-4d2f-9212-ee081cb4faf5) analyzes the target aspect and adapts the layout, and SaveImage writes the final result. Depending on your settings, it can scale-to-fit with letterboxing, crop-to-fill, or extend the canvas and synthesize new surrounding content for a seamless look.

Technically, the recomposer node computes the optimal scale and offset for the source image relative to the requested aspect ratio, then applies one of three strategies: smart crop, letterbox padding, or canvas expansion with outpainting. For outpainting, the node builds a border mask around the newly created areas and fills them using context from adjacent pixels to minimize visible seams—no prompt required. Feathering around mask edges and adaptive blending reduce halos or sharp transitions. The result is saved via SaveImage, making it quick to generate multiple aspect variants ready for web, print, or social placements.

This is especially useful when you need consistent assets across 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, or 9:16 formats without redrawing layouts. By keeping the pipeline simple and node-local (LoadImage → 172f1008-9337-4d2f-9212-ee081cb4faf5 → SaveImage), you get predictable results with minimal setup, and you can iterate fast by adjusting aspect, crop/fit/extend behavior, and seam smoothing.
