Meshy 7.1: Text to Model
Generate detailed 3D models from text prompts using Meshy 7.1, with an optional Ultra 4K geometry mode that captures fine surface detail like stitching, wood grain, and scales as real geometry. Ideal for game asset creation, product visualization, and 3D printing preparation.
About
This ComfyUI workflow turns text prompts into clean, usable 3D assets using Meshy 7.1’s text-to-3D API. The core path starts with MeshyTextToModelNode, which generates a base mesh from your description, and finishes with SaveGLB to export a GLB you can open in DCC tools or engines. An optional Ultra 4K geometry mode pushes Meshy 7.1 to capture micro surface detail—like stitching, wood grain, and scales—as actual geometry rather than baked normals, ideal for close-up renders and 3D printing prep.

Ultra 4K increases vertex density so fine surface features become real geometry (not just normal map detail). Use it for close-ups, precision lookdev, or 3D printing. Expect longer processing times and larger files. For real-time games or blockouts, Standard mode is usually sufficient.
Yes. The Meshy* nodes call Meshy 7.1 via API. Provide your Meshy API key in the node settings or as an environment variable. Without a valid key, generation requests will fail or queue indefinitely.
Try MeshyRefineNode to improve topology and sharpen forms. Also refine your prompt with material and shape cues, or re-run with a different seed. If you only need lighter assets, generate in Standard mode first and refine from there.
GLB supports embedded materials and animations. If you run MeshyTextureNode, MeshyRigModelNode, and/or MeshyAnimateModelNode and feed their outputs into SaveGLB, the resulting GLB can include the mesh, materials, and any rig/animation present. If a viewer doesn’t show textures, verify the export settings and viewer support.
