MiniMax H3 Max Turbo: Image to Video
Generate video sequences from a starting image using MiniMax H3 Max Turbo, producing two video outputs from a single input frame. This rapid image-to-video workflow generates short clips in seconds, with optional prompt enhancement and 2K upscaling stages. Ideal for animating still photographs, creating quick motion previews for storyboards, and fast visual effects iteration.
About
This MiniMax H3 Max Turbo image-to-video workflow turns a single still image into motion in seconds and saves two distinct clips per run. The core video generation happens in parallel through two MiniMax nodes: MinimaxHailuo03FirstLastFrameNode and MinimaxHailuo03ContextIRNode. Both consume the same start image from LoadImage and the same text prompt, then SaveVideo writes each result to disk. A ComfySwitchNode sits between your prompt and the generators, routing either your original text from PrimitiveStringMultiline or an auto-improved version from MinimaxHailuo03RegenerateNode when the Prompt Enhancer is enabled.

They come from two MiniMax generators wired in parallel. MinimaxHailuo03FirstLastFrameNode uses first/last frame guidance to structure motion, while MinimaxHailuo03ContextIRNode relies on context inference. Both use the same image and prompt, so you can compare two motion interpretations side by side.
The upscale path only accepts 768p source video. Set the generation resolution on the MiniMax nodes to 768p before enabling the Upscale to 2K flag. If the source isn’t 768p, upscale will not run.
Yes. The MinimaxHailuo03* nodes call the MiniMax H3 Max Turbo API. Ensure your MiniMax credentials are configured in ComfyUI or the node settings before running the workflow.
The MiniMax nodes expose parameters (e.g., duration or motion behavior) depending on your installation and template version. Open MinimaxHailuo03FirstLastFrameNode and MinimaxHailuo03ContextIRNode to adjust available settings. Use SaveText logs to keep notes on parameter sets that work well.
